What We Do
Strategic AI Advisory for Operational Infrastructure
Harlem Labs designs and deploys the workflows, automations, AI integrations, and operational frameworks that allow a business to operate at a higher level of consistency and scale. The firm is not a software company. The work product is operational infrastructure.
Roadmapping how AI should be sequenced into an operator's specific business. Audit, prioritization, and build strategy.
Architecture and hands-on build of automation workflows, AI agent stacks, custom GPTs, data integrations, and operational infrastructure.
Every engagement ends with the operator's team able to run and extend the systems independently. The target is never a system that depends on Harlem Labs to maintain.
Problems We Solve
What Clients Bring to Us
Manual, repetitive operations consuming leadership time that should go toward strategy
Fragmented tool stacks with no connective infrastructure between them
AI tools deployed without underlying systems to support them
Strategy defined but not executable — no operational model to carry it forward
Team bottlenecks caused by undocumented processes rather than repeatable systems
Growth stalled because infrastructure built for 10 people can't handle 50
How We Work
The Engagement Process
Audit the current operation. Identify bottlenecks, rank leverage points by return and effort, and produce the Blueprint: a written diagnostic and implementation plan.
Deploy the systems to the Blueprint spec: automations, AI workflows, dashboards, integrations.
Transfer the capability. Train the team to run the infrastructure independently and document everything. The engagement ends when the operator no longer needs Harlem Labs in the room.
What Makes Us Different
Operational Differentiators
Strategic advisory depth paired with hands-on technical execution, not one or the other
A 13-year practice, not an AI-era startup: Wall Street analytical rigor and Columbia Business School training applied to owner-operated businesses
AI-native methodology: AI integration is embedded in the approach, not added as an afterthought
Builds for longevity: systems designed to be maintained and extended, not replaced in 18 months
Transfers capability: operators leave every engagement able to run the systems themselves
Defensive before offensive: secure and automate the operation first, then build the revenue-generating systems on top

Yes. Boutique consulting firms and independent consultants bring Harlem Labs in to put AI inside their own delivery without hiring a technical lead. In one six-week engagement, Burnie Group, a 15-person boutique M&A advisory firm in Toronto, built a scenario-analysis workflow that let its team review 30 scenarios in the time it previously took to review three, and opened access to a class of projects in the $200,000 to $1 million range. The firm's own team runs the workflow. Case study: harlemlabs.com/results/burnie-group.
